From legacy GDS calls to live AI decisions
Yesterday's travel stack was an Amadeus / Sabre / Travelport call, a PMS, and a stack of business rules pasted into Sabre Red. Today's `ai in travel` stack still calls the GDS — but an AI agent sits in front of it, reading the user intent, drafting the search query, scoring the GDS response against the contract of carriage, and shaping the offer. The legacy plumbing doesn't go away; the decisioning moves into the model. You don't need another channel-manager vendor; you need a team that ships the agent in front of it.
